We are looking for an experienced Odoo Developer to design, develop, customize, and maintain Odoo ERP solutions. The role involves working closely with functional teams, handling complex customizations, integrations, version upgrades, and ensuring best development practices across projects.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and customize Odoo Enterprise modules
- Develop new features and enhance existing modules based on business requirements
- Perform Odoo version upgrades and database migrations
- Integrate Odoo with third-party systems (APIs, payment gateways, SMS, email, shipping, etc.)
- Develop and maintain REST APIs and external service connections
- Follow Odoo development standards and best practices
- Maintain clean, reusable, and well-documented code
- Perform unit testing, functional testing, and bug fixing
- Support UAT and production deployments
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation
- Assist in user training and knowledge transfer
- Support post-go-live activities and system maintenance
Technical Skills Required
- Strong experience in Odoo (v12–v18+)
- Python, Odoo ORM, PostgreSQL
- XML, QWeb, JavaScript
- Odoo backend & frontend customization
- Linux environment and Git version control
- Odoo.sh / Docker deployment experience
- Experience with performance tuning and security hardening
- Knowledge of accounting and business workflows
- Experience in multi-company and multi-currency setups
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with functional consultants, project managers
- Participate in sprint planning, estimations, and progress review meetings
- Mentor junior developers and support team skill development
