As we continue to expand our ERP practice, we are looking for a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer (Odoo) to join our growing team and contribute to the successful delivery of enterprise-grade Odoo solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead the technical design, development, and implementation of Odoo ERP projects.
- Develop, customize, and maintain Odoo modules based on client business requirements.
- Perform Odoo version upgrades and migrations while ensuring compatibility and maintainability.
- Design and implement integrations with third-party applications and enterprise systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across Odoo implementations.
- Collaborate with functional consultants, project managers, and clients to define technical solutions and estimate development effort.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers, promoting best development practices.
- Write clean, maintainable, and upgrade-friendly code following Odoo development standards.
- Prepare technical documentation for developed solutions and integrations.
- Participate in solution architecture discussions and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Must Have
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional software development experience, including significant hands-on experience with Odoo ERP.
- Strong expertise in Python and the Odoo framework, including ORM, module development, and framework architecture.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, XML, QWeb, JavaScript, and Odoo web technologies.
- Solid understanding of core Odoo modules such as Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Accounting, Manufacturing, CRM, and Human Resources.
- Experience in Odoo implementation, customization, migration, and performance optimization.
- Familiarity with REST APIs, third-party integrations, and web services.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects effectively.
- Odoo Certification is an added advantage.
Nice to have
- Experience with Odoo.sh and Linux server administration.
- Knowledge of Docker, Git, CI/CD, and deployment best practices.
- Experience working in an ERP consulting or implementation environment.
- Exposure to cloud infrastructure and enterprise integration platforms.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
